Favorite things Friday - Washi Tape

Happy Friday! Today I am going to be sharing with you my collection of washi tape! I love all my washi tape so it is hard for me to only pick a few. I store all of mine in a craft organizer. I'm actually about to be out of room. Head over to Scrap It Girl to see the teams favorite washi tape.

Here's a layout I made using some washi tape -

That picture is from the first time Preston met one of my good friends daughters. They are both sooo cute!
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

NSD Weekend 2014

Hi! This weekend I went to a crop for National Scrapbooking Day with my mom and I had so much fun! I was able to complete a mini book and about 10 layouts so I was happy. I am going to share a couple with you today.

I'll save more for later! I have a lot to do this week. I want to enter a couple more of the Studio Calico challenges and also am making my mom a mini book for Mother's Day.
Thanks for stopping by!

Scrap It Girl May

Hi! I'm here to share a new layout for the Scrap It Girl design team! The challenge for this month is Mothers or Mother Nature. I made a layout featuring a picture of me and my little boy. Head over to Scrap It Girl to see this months prize!

Saturday is National Scrapbooking Day! I'm excited to be attending a crop with my mom this weekend. I'm also going to be taking part in the Studio Calico and Big Picture Classes online stuff that they will be having.
Everyone has a lovely May Day!

Scrap It Girl April!

Hello April! I'm going to be sharing the April challenge for Scrap It Girl. I'm actually hosting it so I put together the prize. The theme is bags and tags. Tags are one of my favorite paper items so I am excited about this one! Here is the prize I put together:
All you have to do is use a tag or bag on a layout, card, or any project really! Link up over here.

I made a mini book with a tag shape. I cut thin cardboard (a old cereal box!) with my silhouette. It worked pretty well. I found this American Craft paper pad at target and I am in LOVE with the colors. Kraft, neon, and navy blue work so well together. Most of the pictures are from when we got our pictures taken by a friend last November and a few of Preston playing outside. They all worked very well together.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you take part in the challenge!

Favorite Things Friday

TGIF! Today is Favorite Things Friday over at Scrap It Girl. We are sharing our favorite place to craft/sit.
So here is my craft area! A couple months back I moved my area into our living room because its quite large with lots of windows. Plus its easier to keep an eye on the kiddo. My parents gave me this awesome 1970s tanker desk that stores so much stuff! Plus it gives me a lot of workspace and has extra "pull outs" if I need more table space. It works out really well. Since I have it in the living room and don't have a ton of space, I don't get too cluttered or hold on to too much stuff.
Here's a couple layouts I had fun making with my silhouette!

I love this quote and thought it would work for this layout.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Be Happy!

It's International Day of Happiness today! I want to share this awesome website that the UN and Pharrell are putting out today: http://24hoursofhappiness.com/ Scroll through some of the other hours. They have people all over the world dancing, so much fun!

On this layout I placed with watercolors. I used washi tape to make a design. It came out pretty cool!

I linked up this layout over at Paper Issues for "Count Your Lucky Stars!"

I hope everyone has a lovely day!

Cherish This

I'm sharing a layout that I made with the Studio Calico Sugar Rush main kit. These plastic die hearts are so fun and I thought they looked fun on top of the picture.

Workplace Wednesday:
I've been making envelopes with my Silhouette. Wow! They are so pretty. I can't wait to try out more styles.

Thanks for stopping by!
